PRECISION SCREENING SOLUTIONS LLC
PRIVACY POLICY
Effective Date: September 5, 2026
Precision Screening Solutions LLC (“PSS,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information provided through our website, appointment-request forms, communications, and screening services.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how it may be shared, and the steps we take to protect it.
1. Information We Collect
We may collect:
• Name, telephone number, email address, and mailing or service address
• Employer, agency, or organization information
• Requested service, preferred appointment date, and service location
• Information supplied on an RI-030 form, laboratory order, chain-of-custody form, or other authorized service document
• Payment and transaction information
• Communications submitted through our website, telephone, email, or appointment forms
• Technical information, such as browser type, device type, IP address, and website activity
Payment-card information may be processed directly by a third-party payment provider. PSS does not receive or store complete payment-card numbers when payments are processed through that provider.
Please do not submit Social Security numbers, identification documents, fingerprint images, medical records, drug-testing results, or other sensitive information through the general website contact form unless PSS provides an approved secure method.
2. How We Use Information
We may use personal information to:
• Respond to questions and service requests
• Review and schedule appointments
• Confirm requested services, locations, prices, and payment responsibilities
• Verify required forms, agency information, or testing instructions
• Provide fingerprinting, drug-testing, background-screening, and related services
• Process payments and provide receipts
• Communicate appointment instructions, confirmations, or changes
• Maintain required business, compliance, and transaction records
• Protect our clients, applicants, systems, equipment, and business
• Comply with applicable legal, regulatory, contractual, and reporting requirements
Submitting an appointment request does not create a confirmed appointment. PSS must review and approve the request before sending a final confirmation.
3. Fingerprinting and Screening Information
Fingerprint images, identification information, drug-testing documentation, and screening records are handled only as necessary to provide the authorized service.
Depending on the service, information may be securely transmitted to or processed by the Michigan State Police, FBI, an authorized laboratory, Medical Review Officer, background-screening provider, employer, licensing agency, or other authorized recipient.
Fingerprinting results are generally returned to the requesting employer or licensing agency identified on the RI-030—not directly to PSS or the applicant.
PSS does not use fingerprint information, drug-testing information, or screening results for advertising or marketing.
4. How Information May Be Shared
We may share information only as reasonably necessary with:
• The employer, agency, or organization that authorized or requested the service
• Government agencies, including the Michigan State Police and FBI, when required for authorized fingerprint submissions
• Laboratories, Medical Review Officers, background-screening providers, and other service partners
• Website-hosting, email, scheduling, payment-processing, and technology providers supporting our operations
• Professional advisers, insurers, or legal representatives
• Government authorities or other parties when required by law or necessary to protect legal rights, safety, or security
PSS does not sell or rent personal information.
5. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
No internet transmission or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Applicants and clients should use only the secure submission methods provided or approved by PSS for sensitive information.
6. Information Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain required business records, meet contractual obligations, resolve disputes, and comply with applicable laws and regulatory requirements.
When information is no longer required, PSS will take reasonable steps to securely delete, destroy, or de-identify it.
7. Cookies and Website Information
Our website may use essential cookies and similar technologies to operate correctly, maintain security, remember preferences, and understand general website activity.
Browser settings may allow visitors to block or delete cookies. Certain website functions may not operate correctly if essential cookies are disabled.
8. Your Choices and Requests
You may contact PSS to request access to or correction of personal information you provided through our website. You may also request deletion when the information is not required for an active service, legal obligation, regulatory requirement, contractual responsibility, or business record.
We may need to verify your identity before processing a privacy request.
9. Third-Party Websites and Services
Our website may link to third-party websites or services. PSS is not responsible for the privacy, security, or content practices of independently operated third parties. Visitors should review the privacy policies of those providers.
10. Children’s Privacy
The PSS website is not directed toward children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 through the website.
A parent, legal guardian, employer, school, agency, or other properly authorized party should coordinate services involving a minor when required.
11. Changes to This Policy
PSS may update this Privacy Policy when our services, website practices, or legal obligations change. The updated policy will be posted on this website with a revised effective date.
